Today, It was my 30th birthday and it was very special one to me… So, I took day off and spent all day with my wife and baby girl Reneeta…. We went to lots of places and had dinner in Baton Rouge in Gulshan-2 with some of our old friends… I really enjoyed my day… Now its time to get back to work… Chao !!
Gold (XAU/USD) has been constantly rising since November 2008 and constantly making Higher-high for last three months. It was recorded high @ $1195.22/oz on 26 Nov 2009. Well, I missed the golden opportunity on Gold as it went long over 10% on this month only. With a leverage of 1:100, its more then 1000% profit potential. It seems that there is no limit to how high Gold can reach and Frank Holmes, CEO of U.S. Global Investors, also said: “It’s possible for Gold to top $2,300 an ounce.”
Currently it is trading at $1177.27 – up over 10% on this month alone.
In spite of this continual upward trend, many believe that the current rally in risk assets could reverse at any time, at least for a normal 10%+ pullback and possibly more. That would typically mean a reversal for gold as well. Capital Economics forecasted that “Gold futures will fall below $1,000 an ounce by year-end and fall as low as $800 an ounce next year.”
I guess, Its the time to go short on Gold. I am planning to take some extra leverage on Gold and hold it till 998.95/oz. Happy trading.
